MAY 09-11, 2024 - Dali, China IEEE ICPST 2024 We are pleased to announce that 2024 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Power Science and Technology (ICPST) is to be held in Dali, Yunnan, China on May 9-11, 2024. Power Science and Technology, at its core, is the study of efficient generation, transmission, and utilization of electrical energy. In China, this domain has evolved significantly over the years, paralleling the nation`s rapid industrialization and urbanization. The earliest foundations can be traced back to the electrification projects of the 20th century, which laid the groundwork for the modern power industry. China`s commitment to technological advancement has been a driving force behind the impressive strides in Power Science and Technology. Over the past decades, the nation has embraced cutting-edge research and development in power generation methods, grid integration, renewable energy sources, and energy-efficient technologies. The rise of smart grids, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission, and advancements in energy storage have all played pivotal roles in shaping China`s power landscape. In recent years, China has placed a strong emphasis on sustainability and green energy practices. The country has become a global leader in renewable energy deployment, with extensive investments in wind, solar, and hydropower projects. These endeavors align closely with international efforts to combat climate change and promote a more sustainable future. IEEE ICPST 2024 will feature contributed papers, keynote & invited talks, special sessions, as well as parallel sessions, where you will meet and network with researchers in power science and technology and others who are interested in the latest techniques in the field of power engineering.
