08.09.2026 - Belgrade Waterfront Beograd - Electrical Design Manager Belgrade Waterfront Beograd Electrical Design Manager ROLE SUMMARY: The Electrical Design Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all electrical engineering aspects of projects, including power distribution systems, normal and essential power, lighting and lighting controls, earthing and lightning protection, ELV systems, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, energy-efficient solutions, and coordination with utility authorities. This role involves providing technical leadership, managing design consultants, reviewing engineering deliverables, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, fully coordinated, and cost-effective electrical solutions aligned with project objectives, applicable regulations, international standards, and company design guidelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and coordinate electrical design activities throughout all project stages, from concept development to construction support Review and assess electrical design submissions, including power distribution, normal and essential power systems, lighting and lighting controls, earthing and lightning protection, ELV/ICT systems, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and BIM models Ensure electrical design solutions meet project briefs, performance requirements, lifecycle expectations, local authority regulations, utility requirements, international standards, and company design guidelines Manage and coordinate external design consultants and monitor the timely implementation and closure of technical and BIM-related comments Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, project management, procurement, cost management, planning, and facility management teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions Lead electrical discipline coordination within BIM processes and support the resolution of multidisciplinary design clashes and MEP interface issues Review power demand requirements, cable routing strategies, transformer and panel locations, equipment access clearances, and system integration to ensure safe, efficient, and maintainable design solutions Propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost, performance, sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational efficiency. Ensure electrical systems are practical, constructible, maintainable, and suitable for long-term operation, with appropriate access, serviceability, and lifecycle considerations Identify technical risks related to power demand, routing constraints, system integration, constructability, coordination, and authority approvals, and propose appropriate mitigation measures Prepare technical scopes of work and support procurement and consultant appointment processes Coordinate with utility providers and support authority approval processes related to electrical infrastructure, load requirements, permits, and technical submissions Ensure commissioning, testing, maintainability, and operational requirements are considered during design development Present technical solutions, design options, recommendations, and project risks to internal and external stakeholders Support the development and continuous improvement of internal design standards, guidelines, and technical processes QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Education Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical Engineering Master`s Degree is considered an advantage Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical or MEP design Proven experience on large-scale residential, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, retail, or infrastructure developments Experience in reviewing design documentation and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams Previous experience working on the developer side, client side, or within reputable engineering consultancy firms is considered an advantage International project experience is a plus Technical & Professional Skills Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, earthing and lightning protection, ELV systems, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and related electrical infrastructure Good understanding of international engineering standards, local regulatory requirements, utility requirements, and authority approval processes Experience with BIM processes and design coordination, including review of BIM models and coordination outputs Ability to evaluate electrical systems from technical, operational, constructability, maintainability, and cost perspectives Knowledge of smart building technologies, building management systems, smart metering, IoT integration, and energy-efficient design solutions is considered an advantage Understanding of sustainability requirements, electrification, energy efficiency, and decarbonization principles is considered an advantage Knowledge of commissioning principles, testing and commissioning procedures, and integrated systems requirements is considered an advantage Strong coordination, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Excellent English communication skills Personal Attributes Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail Proactive and solution-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, developer-led, and international environment High level of professionalism and commitment to delivering quality results What We Offer Opportunity to contribute to one of the most prestigious mixed-use developments in the region Exposure to high-profile projects across the Eagle Hills portfolio, including selected developments within international markets Collaboration with international teams and leading engineering and design consultants Excellent opportunities for professional growth and career development Dynamic, fast-growing, and international working environment If you believe that your skills and experience match the requirements of this role and you would like to develop your career within a dynamic international organization, we encourage you to apply.
